| Introduction | |
| Where Herefordshire and Monmouthshire meet, you will find The Oaks. We offer a friendly welcome as it is a small privately run Bed and Breakfast. There are stunning views from many windows that overlook rolling countryside and distant hills. Garway is centrally situated for easy access to the city of Hereford, Monmouth (A40) Ross on Wye (M50) and Abergavenny, the gateway to Wales Garway is a small village and the local church of St. Michael has historical links to the Knights of the Templers. The Oaks is close to “The Moon” a local pub which provides good food. Opposite the Pub is a large Common where you may be able to watch the odd game of cricket. There is also a play area for the children. If you like to walk there is the choice of many and if you feel like a gentle climb, Garway Hill is worth a try. At the top you may be able to see up to 7 Counties……. On a good day! Further afield we can offer The Wye Valley, Offa Dyke, Market Towns, The Golden Valley etc etc. | ![]() |
